Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen!

In the Kingdom of Cambodia, the information sector development for Cambodian Muslims which is more than 5 percent of the population, is almost nonexistent. The Cambodian Muslim community does not have radios, televisions, newspapers, magazines that serve exclusively for the community itself.

I found that the media plays a major role in engaging in the national development, but it rarely seen physically, it help developing a mindset and knowledge. While I was in charge of Radio Broadcasting in the Cham language, the first radio show in the history of Cambodia Muslim community in Cambodia, I have always dreamed and wanted to have a radio and television station for my community. Nowadays, even what I have dreamed has not come in the reality yet, but the Cambodian Muslim Media Center has been working hard to create the first online Muslim television in Cambodia.

Since 2014, through this center, we have been presenting about Cambodian Muslims relate to the society, culture, Islam, and education. Nowadays, the center has become a place where you can find information about Islam as well as Muslim, although it is incomplete, especially to guide and reduce misunderstandings by non-Muslims about Islam and Muslim which is also taking part in the building the religious harmonization in Cambodia.

Taking this opportunity, on behalf of the Muslim Media Center, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Your Excellency, Ladies and Gentlemen for their support in both the spirit and finance, especially the Royal Government of Cambodia through the related Ministries support by authorization the center so that the center is functioning legally. With this booklet about this center, I am sure that you all know more about our work activities. I warmly welcome and highly appreciate the cooperation to develop the Cambodian Muslim Center for the sake of Muslim community as well as Cambodia in general.
